Pierre Jaunet's Catalina Safari Company is featured in this documentary. Pierre restored ex-RCAF Canso 11054 to re-create the excitement and adventure of the Empire Flying Boat service that connected the British colonies in Africa in the late 1930s.

By the way, the pilot, Jim Ledergard (sp?) worked for Robert Schlaefli in Washington state, U.S.A. I met Jim in August 1999 when Bob Schlaefli auctioned off the world's (then) largest fleet (5) of PBYs.
